ARRIVAL IN MEDELLIN

DAY 2
MEDELLIN CITY TOUR
- 10:00 AM: Hotel pickup.
- 10:30 AM: First stop at Parque de las Luces, a symbol of Medellín's urban transformation. This park features 300 luminous towers and represents the city's rebirth from a violent past to a modern and resilient Medellín.
- 11:00 AM: Tour of Calle Junín, one of Medellín's most iconic streets, famous for its shops, theaters, and architecture. This street connects to Plaza Botero, where 23 monumental sculptures created by Fernando Botero, one of Colombia's most renowned artists, are on display. Botero is known for his distinctive style of volume exaggeration, and his works are exhibited worldwide.
- 1:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant.
- 3:00 PM: Visit to Cerro Nutibara, one of the few places in Medellín that preserves its natural shape. At the summit, you'll find Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a typical Antioquian town, offering a panoramic view of the city.
- 5:00 PM: Visit to Parque de los Pies Descalzos, a space designed to interact with nature and promote well-being. You'll also find the Museo del Agua and the Edificio Inteligente de EPM, a modern architectural work powered by sustainable energy.
- 6:00 PM: Return to the hotel.
DAY 3
GUATAPE TOUR
- 8:00 AM: Hotel pickup.
- 9:30 AM: First stop at Alto del Chocho, a restaurant with spectacular views and a small zoo where visitors can see local animals.
- 11:00 AM: Continue to the Piedra del Peñol, a gigantic 220-meter-high monolith offering one of the most impressive views of Antioquia. This natural formation is known as one of Colombia's most visited icons, with a 740-step staircase to the top.
- 12:30 PM: Lunch in the town of Guatapé, famous for its vibrant zócalos that adorn the houses, each representing the history or work of local families.
- 2:00 PM: Boat tour of the Guatapé Reservoir, a large artificial water reserve built in the 1970s to generate hydroelectric energy. The reservoir offers breathtaking landscapes of mountains, islands, and cabins surrounded by water.
- 3:00 PM: Stroll through Guatapé's colorful streets, known for their striking murals and the hospitality of its inhabitants.
- 5:00 PM: Return to the hotel.
DAY 4
COMUNA 13 AND EXOTIC FRUIT
- 8:30 AM: Hotel pickup.
- 9:00 AM Guided tour of Comuna 13, one of Medellín's most transformed areas. Formerly one of the city's most dangerous neighborhoods, it is now a symbol of overcoming and resilience. Here, local guides will share the story of its transformation through street art murals, electric stairs, and social inclusion projects.
- 1:30 PM Lunch at a market restaurant.
- 2:30 PM Visit to La Mayorista and Minorista markets for a gastronomic tour, where visitors can learn about, taste, and discover Colombia's exotic fruits, such as lulo, granadilla, guanábana, and others.
- 5:00 PM: Return to the hotel.
DAY 5
SANTA FE DE ANTIOQUIA TOUR
- 8:00 AM: Hotel pickup.
- 10:00 AM: First stop at the Puente de Occidente, built in 1887, one of the oldest and longest suspension bridges in Latin America, and one of the most important engineering works of its time.
- 11:30 AM: Arrival in Santa Fe de Antioquia, founded in 1541 and known for its well-preserved colonial architecture. It was the first capital of Antioquia, and its historical importance is reflected in its churches, tile-roofed houses, and cobblestone streets.
- 12:30 PM: Lunch at a typical restaurant in the area.
- 1:30 PM: Historical tour of the town center, including the Catedral Basílica Metropolitana, one of the oldest and most representative temples in the region.
- 3:30 PM: Free afternoon to explore the town's streets, enjoy its peaceful atmosphere.
5:00 PM: Return to the hotel.

- Free day, travelers can walk around the sector or visit places of their choice at their own pace.
DAY 7
SILLETERO AND FLOWERS TOUR

- 8:30 AM Panoramic tour of the Placita de Flores, Medellín's oldest market, where flowers and agricultural products from local farms are sold.
- 10:00 AM Continue to Santa Elena, the cradle of the silletera tradition. This town is known for the creation of silletas, floral structures that farmers carry on their backs during the famous Desfile de Silleteros.
- 11:30 AM Visit Parque Arví to enjoy a farmers' market and purchase local and artisanal products.

- 1:30 PM Visit Finca El Pensamiento, where you can learn about the tradition of silletas and the importance of flowers in Antioquian culture.
